Saheeda Effendi! You come here to read more about the legendary exploits of Farooq Min Jauhar. Feast your eyes on his cunning that can trick a caliph out his dinars...
- Upon arriving in Tajar on his first adventure, Farooq traveled the streets of the city throwing dinars made with the magic of Fool's gold, spreading the word of Jauhar under a stunned church of Jisan. Once the gold reverted to the rocks from where they came, the angry population sought out Farooq for an explanation. Using cunning and a silver tongue, Farooq boldly claimed that Jisan and her priests didn't want them to have the money so they turned it to common rock. The angry mob went on to rough up the priests of Jisan, who were surprised to have an uprising on their hands.
- In Hiyal, Farooq placed a bet that Ramanhi could best Master Bulad, the Steelmaker. He did bet an impressive sum of 2000 dinars. As the fight drew to a close with a winded Ramanhi surrendering to Bulad, Farooq "quietly" left the room, without paying his due, for his friends to cover for his loss.
- In Radim, as a reward for saving the wedding of the Pharaoh's daughter, Farooq was covered in gold pieces, under which he slept and lives for three days before passing out from exhaustion and his own stench, having refused countless times to come out even for a bath. Ramanhi and Saladin threw him in a bath and had the servants wash him while they locked his gold in a chest.
