Es salam alekum, effendi! You wish to learn more about the Zakharan calendar. You are at the Right place. The year as 365 days separated in 12 months of 30 days. There are also five days which do not belong to any month. These are the High Holy Days, when fasting and meditation and prayer are from dawn to dusk but after the sun sets, it is a time of celebration and revelry. Those five days are: Ahad, Atnen, Salas, Arba and Yasad (also known as Ascension Day). They are celebrated between the months of Qawafil and Safa.
